Wire Tensioning Device

Wire tensioner designed to maintain tension thoughout woods. Rigid construction and durable tension wheel. Use with wire tensioning handle.

 

Can be used with 9- or 12.5-gauge wire. Tension should be lessened off after the season. Vertical slats should be installed around trees that the wire fastens to. When the slats deteriorate, replace them in a different location on the tree or move them to another tree.

 

Device is constructed of all galvanized steel. Has a spring to hold the latch flipper tight against the cog spool, which makes tightening the wire safer.
