What Temperature Should I Bottle Syrup At?

The ideal temperature for bottling maple syrup is over 180 degrees Fahrenheit, and below 195 degrees

Bottling syrup over 180 degrees ensures that the bottle you're putting the syrup into is sanitized properly.  


That being said, make sure that your syrup temperature does not go above 195 degrees. Bottling syrup this hot will accumulate more niter and sugar sand, making your syrup cloudy.
