High up in the mountains of West Virginia, seven brothers have partnered to run a maple camp about an hour from their homes in Maryland. With about 17,000 taps, it is the largest maple operation in the state and growing.

We visited the family operation in August, when the whole family was at the camp, hard at work with their annual cleaning. Ron Swartzentruber shares the story of the operation and explains the huge untapped potential that West Virginia has to offer maple farmers.
